Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to Camp Genki!!! Your child is about to embark on a journey he/she will recall for years to come. Our team designed a summer camp program incorporating academic reinforcement, exploration and physical fitness. We labored well and believe we developed an award winning program.

Camp Genki (taken from our after school program, “Genki ni Narimasu”, translation: fit and energetic in Japanese) provides youth an opportunity to participate in a physical fitness program, weekly cultural experience and academic reinforcement. Participants in Camp Genki will engage in a community service project benefiting children impacted by HIV/AIDS or Cancer. One of the program goals is to aid in developing quality citizens who make positive contributions to their communities and ultimately society. We believe our youth are the agents of change willing to make a difference. 

Our program begins June 16th and runs through August 22, 2009.

Our plan includes field trips to:

1-FULL MOON FARM    6-25-09          10am-12:30pm

2- REISTERTOWN SPORTS PLEX-ICE SKATING    7-10-09   10am-12:30pm

3- MITCHELLS GULF PUTT PUTT      7-17-09         10am-12:30pm

4- EARTH TREK (6YR AND UP)  8-5-09         10am-12:30pm

5- TOBY DINNER THEATRE     8-14-09            10am-12:30pm

6- OREGON RIDGE                     7-24-09            10am-12pm

 7- LITTLE HANDS COOKIE CO. (4-5YR OLD)   8-5-09   10am-12:30pm

A Camp Genki tee-shirt must be worn on all field trips. Additional information on tee shirts can be found in your registration package. Camp hours are Monday - Friday from 7:00am-6pm. We afford extended time at an additional cost.
