LIGHTS ON AFTERSCHOOL ...On October 22, 2009, the Baltimore County 4-H Afterschool Program at Sweet Potato Kids (Randallstown) celebrated LOA! Over 30 youth prepared for their upcoming digital film making class by creating movie boxes and performing a skit about the community through their eyes. The youth and teachers had a wonderful time exploring and demonstrating their creativity. Parents joined in the fun by making nutritious pumpkin parfaits alongside their children. A fun time was had by all while celebrating the value of afterschool time.

Lights On Afterschool is celebrated nationwide to call attention to the importance of afterschool programs for America’s children, families and communities.
