Sweet Potato Kids has adopted three families that include a single mother with two children (two girls 5 and 8 yrs old, size 10), a single Dad with two children (an 11 yr old boy, size 12 and a 10 yr old girl, size 16) and a family of three (a boy 12yrs old, size L/XL& 32/34 pant, a boy 7yrs old, size 12 and a 9 yr old girl, size 16 plus). If you choose to participate, we will assign you a child with id# and we ask that you provide this child with a gift. Toys are always welcome, but we would like to balance that with new clothes as well. In addition to the children’s gifts, we would like each family to contribute $5 CASH along with the gift in order to provide a Giant gift card for groceries. The gifts need to be in Sweet Potato Kids no later than Friday, December 16th. The gifts can be wrapped, however they need to be clearly labeled with the id# of your child. The children will work with their teachers to decorate the packages.
